In accordance with current CDC and city of Gloucester public health guidance, masks are required for all staff and visitors while inside the Museum.
- Participants must wear a mask or face-covering at all times while inside the Museum.
- Please respect and maintain a distance of six feet or more between unrelated groups.
- If you or anyone in your group feels unwell or has symptoms of COVID-19, please visit the Museum another day.
The Museum's main campus is located at 27 Pleasant Street in the heart of downtown Gloucester. Metered parking is available in the public lot across from the Museum or on streets as marked.
The Cape Ann Museum Green, located at 13 Poplar Street just off Grant Circle at the gateway to central Gloucester, has parking available on site. The Green is currently closed. Please check back for 2021 schedule.
Both sites are easily accessible by public transportation on the MBTA commuter rail, which connects Cape Ann directly with the greater Boston area and beyond. From Boston's North Station, take the Newburyport/Rockport line to the Gloucester stop; the main campus at 27 Pleasant Street and the CAM Green at 13 Poplar are both withing walking distance from the train station.
